The world is getting smaller.  Well, not really, but it can seem like it with the world of communication technology exploding with new possibilities every day.  China has a huge population and they are a major player in the world economy.  More and more, people are being required as part of their work to be able to communicate with people from other cultures.  There are also many people who just like know that they can communicate with others if they have to at some point.  Learning for the sake of learning can be a great thing.

Speak Chinese

With billions of citizens, China certainly has it share of Chinese speaking people.  The rest of the world would probably be wise to know at least a little bit about language spoken by so many people.  Rocket Chinese is a program designed to help people to learn the language quickly and to be able to actually use it in real life speaking situations.  This is not the traditional method that you may have used when learning a language back in high school.  If you feel that you do better using the rote memorization techniques you learned sitting in those classes, this might not be for you.  Rocket Chinese is designed to be much more interactive.
